The SGA Council and the Townsville 2009 convenors strongly encourage students to submit abstracts for and participate in the 10th Biennial SGA Meeting, August 2009.

Student participation in SGA meetings has grown considerably over the past years with home pagenearly 100 students participating in the 9th Biennial SGA Meeting in Dublin, Ireland in 2007.

In order to encourage student participation, many of the courses have special reduced rates for student participants. In addition, SGA will award free participation to a single student on each trip and in each course*. Students interested in applying for a free position in a course or on a field trip should fill out the Application Form  and return it by email to the Student Advisory Committee (details on the form) by March 31, 2009.
